What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

AuditX is operated by Zedox Development. This page describes exactly what happens to data when you use it. If anything here is unclear, write to auditxsupport@gmail.com and we will explain it.

What we collect when you run a scan

Scanning a public web page reads only what any visitor or search engine could read. We do not log in, we do not submit forms, and we obey the crawl instructions in your robots.txt.

What we collect when you buy a report

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details never reach our servers. We receive and store a payment reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded, which is what lets us unlock your report and issue a refund if you ask for one. Stripe's own privacy terms apply to the payment itself.

Who else sees the data

How long we keep it

Scan results and screenshots are kept so your report link keeps working. Ask us to delete a specific scan and we will, normally the same day. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of anything we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One email to auditxsupport@gmail.com is enough, and there is no charge. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Scanning a site you do not own

AuditX reads publicly available pages, which anyone may do. If you would rather we did not scan a particular site, tell us and we will block it.
